The Mission of Ignite
To reach every student in our circle of accountability with repeated opportunities to see and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through a partnership with volunteer leaders who partner with parents and are committed to serving as “another voice” in students’ lives.
During their time with Ignite, we want to see our students:
Knowing God Intimately
We want our students to grow deeper in their walk with God. We do this by encouraging students, through accountability and teaching, to spend time and grow deeper in their understanding of Jesus by praying, reading the Bible and living in the Spirit.
Connecting with Others
The Christian life is to be lived out together. We want our students to join hands by engaging in loving relationships, growing together, encouraging one another, and with unity, running the race with our eyes on Jesus. Small groups are a key focus each week and we long to see healthy relationships develop with the students, parents and fellow Hope Church family members.
Serving the Body
We want the students of Ignite to take ownership of the group. We want to provide service opportunities both inside and outside the ministry. We long to see our students serving one another with their God-given talents and abilities. We want to see them develop and use their gifts within the ministry. We also long to see this translated outside the ministry.
Changing the World
We long for our students to be actively involved in the community in which God has placed them. We want to see our students involved in service projects, making connections with peers, and pointing others to Jesus. As believers, we are holders of the worlds most important news, the good news of Jesus. We want to see our students share it.
